Hello,

I keep getting this message:

Screen Shot 2017-06-13 at 11.21.50.png

Which means that I am not able to get ant e-commerce data. Our website is with wordpress and I have linked the two sites (as far as I can see, everything looks correct in the settings) all other date seems fine, and the tracking code matches up... what am I missing? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks very much!

Georgia

Hi Georgia,

You have multiple Google Analytics tracking tags installed on your site what results in collecting incorrect data. I would suggest to remove all instances of the tracking code and install a plugin that supports ecommerce tracking for Woocommerce like this:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/enhanced-e-commerce-for-woocommerce-store/

Let me know if you have questions.

Hi Arnold,

How would I remove all tracking codes... is this done through GA or our website?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi,

One of the instances is inserted by the GADWP plugin. I'm not sure about the other two, one of them might be inserted through the template settings and the other one added to the header template. If you end up having only one of the three, that's good too as the ecommerce plugin I mentioned above can work only as an add-on to basic tracking. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi Arnold,

Would you suggest just deleting that Pluggin then? And where is the best place to keep one tracking code on my site? Or does it not matter?

Thanks again!

Hi,

After deleting that plugin you'll still have two tracking codes in the site. You need to find them and to delete one of them.

The recommended place for the tracking code is inside the <head>tag.
