I am new to my organization and no one here seems to have our Google Analytics account information. I have our property id number but cannot seem to find where/how to log in. Can someone please assist?

Thank you in advance,

Arielle

Hi Arielle

sorry to hear you are having account access issues

You may need to try an account recovery. There is a comprehensive post by Niall in the following thread on how to go about doing this
(its the one marked as best answer)
https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/AdWords-Tracking-and-Reporting/Regaining-access-to-your-Go...

I hope you are able to resolve the issue

Thanks
Bronwyn

Thank you for your response. How do I connect with a Specialist? I do have
that ID number mentioned in the post. Who can I share that with in order to
generate the messages to account users mentioned by Niall?

Thanks,
Arielle

Hi :-)
You need to create an Adwords account to access the support options.
It does not need to be an active Adwords account with any setup or running campaigns etc

I am trying to switch the email address that Google Adword is suggesting I
log in with (it's suggesting my work email and I want to sign in with the
school's main email) and it is not letting me switch accounts when I select
"sign in with a different account"

Is there ANY way someone could just jump on the phone with me for 5 minutes
to assist? This is turning into a bigger issue than I feel like it needs to
be....

Thanks so much for your assistance!
Arielle

If the schools main email address is not associated with the adwords account..then you wont be able to log into it with that account.
This is a user to user help forum . I dont work for google, I volunteer my time here helping people

Google,

I am having the same problem! The catch 22: I do not have an adwords account # because I need to recover the past google analytics login information. All I have is the UA-xxxxxxx-y number. I can't contact support, because I don't have an adwords account. What do I do? Should I create an adwords account even though it will not be associated with the correct google analytics #? Please help me get in touch with a google specialist who can recover my google analytics account, without an adwords #.

@mm L You need to create an Adwords account. It doesn't cost anything to do so. You do not need to have any paid campaigns running or anything setup in teh Adwords account, it is just so you can access the support option

@Bronwyn V Thank you for volunteering your time and expertise! I really appreciate it.

I just called the adwords help desk, and they told me to send an email to google analytics help forum. He guided me to the support.google.com/analytics page, and told me to click the email button in the upper right hand corner. Except... there is no contact button in analytics like there is in adwords. I took a screenshot, but cannot access it here. Is there anyway to contact the google analytics support rather than creating an adwords account we won't use, associated with a new google analytics ID that we also will not use?
