How to give restricted access to a user?

Hi,

I have an urgent question. Is there a way to give restricted access to a user for a particular traffic source? I created a new view in GA and applied a filter based on traffic source but it does not populate the historical data. As far as I know a view would only show data from the time it has been created. Is there a way through which I can give restricted access to a user with traffic source as the criteria. I would like to include past data as well.

I would really appreciate a quick response on this.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Not that I am aware of. You can create a segment to get the historical data and extract the reports to a file for them..??? Not ideal, I know...

Thanks Mike Smiley Happy However I was looking for a solution which would enable them to have direct but restricted access of my GA account.

Thanks again.
