How do I set up a separate login for my Web Developer?

I have a login that I use for Apps for Work, Email, etc.

My Web Developer has asked me for my Google Analytics login.

I don't want to give him access to all my Google accounts.

How do I create a separate login just for him?

Or where do I control permissions of who can see / make changes to my Analytics account only?

 

I'm new to this so, would you please provide detailed steps?

Hi Dina :-)
Do not give your Web Developer (or anyone) your Google Apps or Google Account logins.
Your Web Developer will need to use his own Google Account (most ppl these days have one) to access your Google Analytics reports.

You will need to select what permissions he should have and whether at the Account or Property level.

If they only need to read/analyze data then i would only give them Read & Analyze access for that particular Property. not the whole GA Account
