High Level/Expert Analytics Courses & Training?

Hi GA community!

We're looking for a high-level Google Analytics course for digital marketing specialists at our agency. We typically turn to Market Motive for digital training, but Avinash's course is not quite at the expert-level we're hoping for. This course would ideally dig into the more advanced features of GA, like custom dimensions, metrics, userids, reports etc & using GA with Excel or other tools for deeper analysis.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Another member suggested @Dave_Davis or @Bronwyn V might know of some?

Thanks!

Meg

Hi Meg & Cheryl

We've got our own internal training material at Redfly but the GA stuff is pretty close to this:  http://m.lynda.com/Google-Analytics-tutorials/Advanced-Google-Analytics/428718-2.html?rp=http%3A%2F%...

(on mobile so forgive the long url)

The course is labeled as advanced but I'd put it right on the slightly above the middle range that you seem to be looking for. I'd couple that with a GTM course too if possible but definitely do both, don't skip the GA one. If you're not a member of Lynda yet, you can get the course(s) free for 10 days.

Lynda courses can be a bit hot or miss and I do a lot. But it seems they may have a new content editor team as the quality of the content lately is great. They get the little things right which adds up to a big thing.

After that, I think the best way to learn is to set up a test ecommerce site and go to town implementing every feature. In particular, I think the user ID feature is going to become super important in the coming years.

Hope that helps.
