I am trying to open an account in Google Analytical, but can not do as one part of the process says. The part were it says: Tracking Method This property works using Universal Analytics. Click Get Tracking ID and implement the Universal Analytics tracking code snippet to complete your set up, and I go to the bottom of the page I take it I press the blue button saying Get Tracking Address; all this does is This value must not be empty, by the box at the side. I don't know how to proceed with this as I can not get any further with my set up. Thank you

Hi Pat :-)
If you left click and drag on the modal window with the terns of service in it,
you should be able to reposition it so as to be able to see and access the I accept button
at the bottom of it

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you, I think I'm up and running, but unsure as I found it very difficult to use and wondered if there was anyway it could be checked that I am up and running.

Thank you

Pat

Hi Pat :-)
There is a bit of a learning curve with Google Analytics, so as to get the most out of the reports.
On most of the report pages at the upper right under the date, there is a cap icon that will open up
a window with short video tutorials about that particular report or part of the interface.

It usually takes 4-48hrs for data to start showing in the standard reports.

Did you add the tracking code to your website pages?
If you want to check the tracking code installation, you can use a tool such as Google Tag Assistant
https://support.google.com/tagassistant/answer/2947093?hl=en&ref_topic=6000196

There are further instructions on this page, as to how to use it
https://support.google.com/tagassistant/answer/2947095?hl=en&ref_topic=6000196

What is the website url that the tracking was added to?

Hi Pat :-)
Im not seeing any Google Analytics tracking code as being present.

As its a GoDaddy Online Store, did you follow their instructions for their platform on installing the GA tracking?
You just need to put your GA Tracking ID into the field provided by their platform, not install the whole tracking code snippet.
Their instructions can be found here:

I have put my tracking ID in the field provided, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I'm now seeing tracking code installed for Tracking ID UA-80192356-1
Once installed it can take 24+ hrs for data to start appearing in the GA reports.
