Google user sign-in cancelled, lost access to analytics

We have several authorized users on our Google account.  In an effort to streamline the users, we cancelled some email accounts.  Apparently, one of them was the email tied specifically to Analytics.  So, for now, I have lost access to our company's analytics.  How can I restore access?

Are you able to recreate the email address?

I would like to try that, but I'm getting "maximum number of email addresses" from Google. We have 8-9 email addresses registered to the account. That doesn't seem like too many, but...

Ok.. you may do best to try an account recovery.. it can get confusing and pear shaped rather rapidly when more than one email address is associated with a google account

You will need to create an adwords account if you dont already have access to one. It doesnt cost anything and is needed so as to be able to access the support options via the adwords interface

There is a comprehensive post by Niall in the following thread on how to go about starting the account recovery process. (its the one marked as best answer)
