Hello,

We have two GA accounts one for an old website that is no longer and one for the new one which is live. We want to be able to add a filter to exclude the IP in the new account but the button is not showing to add filter.  Also when i go to user management it tells me this:

User Management

You do not have sufficient permissions to modify the users on this account.

And then shows a button asking if i would like to remove myself from the account.

The old GA account was set up by someone else, are they still linked in anyway?

Thanks

Hi :-)
Sounds like you do not have Admin access to the Account or Property etc
If you do not know who the Admin is, you may have to try and account recoveryY

There is a comprehensive post by Niall in the following thread on how to go about doing this
(its the one marked as best answer)
