Google Analytics with WordPress?

Hi - I am trying to authorize 2 wordpress plugins (Yoast SEO and Google Analytics Dashboard for WP).  It says in order to authorize, I just need to sign into my google account and copy/paste an access code.  However, when I sign into google, the access code disappears before I can copy it.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

The plugin owners said it is a google issue.

Hi :-)
is this the analytics plugin you are referring to?

They have a video on their site on how to do this, and I have used the plugin in the past without issues

Scroll down to the first video in the page

What browser are you currently using?
If you are using Chrome, try doing it in incognito mode

(seems to work for other ppl with the same issue using Chrome)

The same tactic may work for the seo plugin too

Generally we dont offer support here for 3rd party plugins, issues usually need to be followed up with the plugin creator

That's weird... I use the Yoast SEO plugin and I've never had to do anything Google related for the SEO plugin. I know Yoast also has an analytics plugin, and that requires the analytics tracking code, but not any kind of Google "access code"...

Try to follow @Bronwyn V's advice for the Analytics dashboard, and see if you can get that working. Then, see what happens with the Yoast plugin.
