Is there a way to find existing Google Analytics accounts in our company? We want to use Google Analytics and want to know about existing accounts, so that we may leverage an existing corporate account and share practical knowlege using Analytics.

Hi @Alan E,

Since Google respects the privacy & security of each account and user, there is no way to simply give a company name and find out account info.

So, you can look at your website code for the Google Analytics (GA) tracking code or use the free Google Chrome browser extension called Google Tag Assistant to learn of all the tracking codes (tags) installed on any website, which includes AdWords, Analytics and more. You can use this info to better understand Tag Assistant.

If you find a GA code, you can write down the ID # and then proceed to this information, which covers how to regain access of a lost account.

Outside of this, you would simply have to create a new Google Analytics account and move forward with a fresh start. Since you mention that you want to put Analytics to work for your company, you or someone on your staff may want to take the free courses offered by Google in the Analytics Academy

Kind Regards,

James
