GA not working. Has never fired a hit.

Using Godaddy shopping cart. Put code in correct place with assist. from Godaddy

Tag manager does not register any hit.

What do I do?

Thanks

Hi Richard,

You can check if your tracking tag is working using the Google Tag Assistant or the GA Debugger Chrome extensions. They will help you identifying the problem. Let me know if you have questions.

I tested with Google Tag Assistant = 0 tag
Activated GA Debugger ON Doesn't give me options just to remove or turn on and off
Turned on leaving on and nothing. No result.
What do you think it could be at this point?
I have placed the Tag correctly in the Godaddy shopping cart.
Just doesn't get hits on Tag Assistant or GA
Thanks

Hi Richard,
Can you please let me add below code in your global template
function onclickAnalytics1(eventCat, eventLab)
{

ga('send', {
hitType: 'event',
eventCategory: eventCat,
eventAction: 'Version 3.5 Click',
eventLabel: eventLab
});}

call this code whereever you want to track event clicks
onclick="onclickAnalytics1('Enter name of the category', 'enter name of the event label');"

I have implemented the same code on my website. www.examsample.com. Take a look and let me know if you have any issues
