Data not showing at all in Google Analytics

Hello,

I recently gained access to a client's Google Analytics and there is no traffic at all showing on their account, even when I look at their history and they are trying to understand why this would be.

There are no filters at this point that I can see and wonder if you have any suggestions on how to fix this. Could it be because they have the GA code placed incorrectly on their site?

  I appreciate your help!

Hi,

You can check if the tracking tag is working properly on the site using the Google Tag Assistant Chrome extension.

Let me know what you find.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.

I downloaded the extension and I believe that the tag for GA is placed
correctly, or rather it is not showing that there is an issue, although it
says that their GTM is placed incorrectly.

Any other ideas on what may be the issue?

Hello,
I am following up to the response that I sent through last week.

Any other ideas on how to find out why my clients Google Analytics is not
showing in their dashboard?
