Create Accounts from properties

Hi all,

I'm Currently managing an account that has 50 properties.

In order to manage these better i would like to separate these properties into individual accounts where possible.

However this account and properties have several years of history that i don't want to lose.

I've read that you can move properties between accounts, but after a search here, i also found a thread from 2015 stating that properties would have to be recreated wit the loss of all historical data..

What's the best way forward from here?

Can i just create a new account and then transfer the relevant property over to it? is there any kind of backup facility in the even of a loss of data?

Thanks for the help.

Individual properties can be moved between accounts now. No loss of data.
