Sorry, I'm not sure if I am asking this question in the right place??

This is a question about Analytics.. Can someone help me?

I have widgets in one dashboard that I would like to move/clone in a new/different dashboard.. Can I do this?

Hi Bruce :-)

You cant import widgets from one dashboard into an already existing dashboard.
What you can do though, is create a new dashboard from an existing dashboard

Just below the dashboard title is some buttons +widget, share, email, export.
Click on Share and select Share template link
Copy the link it gives you, then paste and enter that link in the browser address bar
It will ask you to select what View you want to add the copied dashboard to.and allow you to
change the name of it. Then save
You should then have the new dashboard listed with your other dahsboards for the View it was added to

When I do this, it creates a new dashboard with a new name. But then any changes I make ALSO change in my original dashboard. e.g. I wanted one dashboard that shows all users, and one that shows all users + a segment. But when I add the segment to the new dashboard -- and then go back to my original one, the segment is there! I must be missing something obvious.
