Can't add user. Message: "Email addresses may not have more than one "@""

I'm trying to add a new user to our Google Analytics. It's a perfectly fine gmail address. But when I click Add, I get this message: "Email addresses may not have more than one "@"" -- I've tried typing it in, rather than copying and pasting. I tried just the name and not the @gmail.com (totally silly, but desperate). Is it just a temporary burp in the system? I have the highest level access. TIA

Hi :-)
How frustrating,

1) Have you tried logging out and clearing all cookies and cache.
2) Have you also checked to make sure your shift key is not sticking

Good thought, Bronwyn. Although I can't stand to clear my cache in my usual browser, Firefox, I do daily in Chrome. Tried to add the user in Chrome, and it worked. Thanks! That should be my first resort. (And maybe just getting rid of Firefox...)
