Can GA be configued to not index a directory?

Can GA be configured to not index a specific directory, and to only index a specific directory? I'd like to have two Google properties to cover a situation like this:

http://www.domainname.com/blogs/

and everything BUT http://www.domainname.com/blogs/

We want to do this because we want the blogs on our site to have their own GA stats separate from the rest of our site.  Is this possible to set up?  How do I do it? I don't see anything in the property settings that seem to support this.

How do I delete my question? I wasn't thinking it through. Two property IDs but only on the associated pages will do the trick.

Your other option Angela would be to simply use the same GA UA but use 2 separate views filtered to only report data that meet each the conditions of each directory.
