Adding a new property in google console or webmaster after purchasing a new domain

I revamped and redesigned my old website(OLDDOMAIN.COM) and I purchased a new domain. Here's my current GoogleWebmaster/Console setup or situation.

OLDomain.com is currently registered in google webmaster/console

Now that my site is live should I add another property and register my NEWDOMAIN.COM or I will continue to use OLDOMAIN.COM? Will it automatically sync knowing that I redirected my OLDdomain.com to my NEWDOMAIN.com

thanks to those who will contribute since I am really confused.

Hi @Jorja B,

I would add it as new property and obtain new Analytics tracking code and add it to every page of the new domain, and link it to Analytics and Search Console.

Kind Regards,

James

thanks for your response, I am using the old analytics since I want to keep
track of the data and statistics that OLDOMAIN.COM had.

But for console I am a bit confused if this will not create conflict of
data. Since the account is verified.
