Access denied - internal error message when signing in to Analytics

Internal error message appears when I navigate from the sign in link. My site admin confirms I have full admin access but I can't even enter my username and password. Just a small orange

internal error message in the background and a white box with the message:

Missing Permissions

You do not have access to the account, property or view. Contact an Analytics administrator who has the Manage Users permission.

Then there is a blue CTA box that says OK, but I can't even click it to close the message window.

Have cleared browsing history but still no joy.

Suggestions anyone?

Hi Fiona. Are you clicking a link someone has sent you? Are you able to sign in to analytics.google.com? If you can, click on the orange and yellow icon (the GA logo) in the top left. This will give you a list of the properties you have access to, is the property shown there?

Problem is isolated to Chrome browser – am using IE until it is resolved. Have followed link supplied and tried going in directly from Analytics page sign in link.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Will save this for future reference 😊
