Unfair advantage policy for video
I have a question about the Adwords unfair advantage policy for video ads.
Say I was contracted to manage a client's video ads in Adwords, and they use a different agency for all other Adwords campaigns (text based.) Is it a violation of the unfair advantage policy to simultaneously run a YouTube video ad that has similar keywords and the same landing page as the client's text ads?
Because the nature of video is entirely different from search, not much will be "similar." But I can't find any resources directly addressing the unfair advantage policy for video, or if it would be a violation to run simultaneous campaigns on separate delivery platforms.
Thanks so much for reading and for any help!
Re: Unfair advantage policy for video
This is a good question;
The gain unfair advantage section of the Policy applies only to the search network, not to display
