Hi I'm Stan,

I'm running InStream Campaigns for one of our Clients. I've Exclude Adult Content & Content not yet rated in Content exclusions But Somehow My ads are still showing on Adult Content on Youtube.

Can someone let me know how I can avoid showing ads on such Videos/Channels.

Regards,

Stanwac Pereira

Try to find out the targeting which gives you such a content as a placement by splitting campaigns by targeting (granularity, one campaign for every topic, interest and keyword group)

exclude these placements manually on the campaign level

also try to analyze these placement and check the category of this video content (on Youtube, under the video description) and exclude the nearest themed topic in campaign exclusions. This helped me to get rid of Masha and the Bear when the manual exclusion didn't work out Smiley Wink

Ievgen,
greetings from Poland

Hi Stan,

I will recommend to adding further exclusions, "Site Category Exclusions" to exclude Adult Videos: (Sexually suggestive content: Provocative pictures, text, and more.)

I hope this will help you.

Thanks,

Hi Levgen,

I tried to analyse the data at a same level but it didn't help. It seems,
When you go to Placements and check where the ads were shown, It does not
give me a bifurcation of targeting with Ad placements. It gives an overall
summary view of ads placements.

Do I have to restructure my campaigns?

Hi Stan,

Hope you are doing good!

You have to check site exclusions, "Site Category Exclusions" to exclude Adult Videos:
(Sexually suggestive content)

don't listen to others. sometimes these exclusions aren't working.

yes, you can.
I would make it as granular as possible.
after this you can analyze which of these bring this kind of placements and pause it
