Hi Matt G,

Did you get a vanity number from Google? I'm not sure I understand your question.

Under Part III: Create a JavaScript snippet to display a Google forwarding number, take a look at the 3rd example on this page: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6095883?hl=en

This is for a click-to-call link when the number is formatted differently for the link and for display. I don't know for certain, but I would be surprised if the number 123555tele would work for the tel: link.

If that's no help, please provide a little more detail about what you want to do.

Best of Luck!

onload="_googWcmGet(gcall, \'123.555.tele\')"

negative. no matter the code i use the cookie sends the proper formatted number from google, but also appends my alpha number to it. so the number change happens, just not properly formatted.

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately the website call tracking feature does not support vanity numbers.

Let me know if you have any questions,
Cassie

Hi Matt,

Interesting. Do you want to provide the gcall function code? That doesn't make sense to me.

<script>

// CHANGE FONES BASED ON CLASS NAME
var gcall = function(formatted_number, mobile_number) {
var eee = document.getElementsByClassName("google-number");
for (var i = 0; i < eee.length; i++) {
eee[i].href = "tel:" + mobile_number;
eee[i].innerHTML = ""
eee[i].appendChild(document.createTextNode(formatted_number));
}
};

&lt;/script&gt;

<a class="phone-call google-number" href="tel:+15128373376">512.837.DERM (3376)</a>

onload="_googWcmGet(gcall, '512.837.DERM (3376)')"

Hi Matt,

I see. That probably isn't going to work. Try this:

onload="_googWcmGet(gcall, '512.837.3376')"

or this:

onload="_googWcmGet(gcall, '512-837-3376')"

See if that works for you.

Pete
