Hi,

Please explain Mobile clicks-to-call  (Click type in mobile) as its suggest these are the actual calls happens to number where as device segmentation show, computers, mobile and  tablets.

Please explain difference between click type and device  based segmentation of call extension.

Hi Addy,

Call extensions allow you to include a phone number in your standard text ad. you can display a clickable call button with your ad (on high-end mobile devices). to know more follow the below link

However the device base segmentation is to reviewing the performance of your ads across different devices.

Thats theoretical, i want to know call extension clicks will be calls, then why devise segmentation and click type refort differ. is it correct that all clicks on call extensions will be calls to our support

Hi Addy_SEM

If set up correctly, then all clicks ON the call extension will be calls to your support. The reason those reports differ is that click type will identify when the call extension was clicked on a mobile device. Whereas on a desktop users can not click the call extension but they can click the ad while the call extension is present and sometimes you will want to know how many clicks the ad received while call extension was visible versus not visible etc.

Hope this helped
