Hi,

I have linked up adwords and analytics.

Wanted to know what did the visitors do / go after landing on my page ?

I can only see a broad view of those clicks

How do I track AW clicks on a individual level ?

Is it possible ?

Thanks

Hi @Shun L

If you have several elements like buttons, videos, links etc. on the landing page, you can set up events with Google Analytics and track users' interactions with them.

Thanks

Yes, if you want to track the interactions on those elements, you should set the events up.

You can track literally anything using Google Tag Manager easily compared to tracking with Google Analytics. I would recommend you to use Google Tag Manager to fire Google Analytics Tags ( This is lot easier than tracking with event codes with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager is code free and easy for marketers who hate working with codes)

I would suggest you read the article https://www.branded3.com/blog/universal-analytics-event-tracking-via-google-tag-manager/

All the best. Let me know if you get any doubts
