Combine Value tracking and manual tagging

Hi guys,

I need to get data both in analytics and my CRM. It seems that Value Track is the best option for me however I can't find how to add campaign and ad.group name in my link using Value Track. Can you please help me with this task.

Currently my links looks like:
http://www.example/example?%7Bifmobile:www.example.com/?myid=mobile}{ifnotmobile:www.example.com/?my...Smiley FrustratedSmiley Very Happy

I know how to add campaign and ad.group using manual utm tagging but I don't know if I can combine Value track and utm tagging.

Thanks,
Alexey

Hey Guys,

we found a solution - you can paste campaign or ad.group name in {ifmobile:[value]}
{ifnotmobile:[value]}
Here is an example of final link:

Hi Alexey,

Thanks for your post! I'm not too sure if it's possible to track campaigns and ad groups with ValueTrack, but you could track the creative id and maybe use that information to track the data back to the campaign or ad group? Has anyone else on the Community tried this before? Any suggestions for Alexey?

I also read a few Community threads that might be helpful:

Hope this helps!

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your answer and insights, I've read post suggested by you but still I am a bit confused. Getting campaign and ad.group name by creative id may be a solution but I can't find info on how I can do it and how my url should look like in this case.

I have more than 20 active ads. in each ad.group and around 200 ad.groups in my account.

Hi Alexey

Is this working for you to report on campaign / ad group?

Looks as if you have to manually input the campaign name for each campaign (not too hard via adwords editor), but the rest is automated via valuetrack?

Thanks

Dan

Hi Dan, yes it's working perfectly.
You just need to paste campaign name and it's done.
