Small NonProfit and Outsourcing Google AdWords Management

We recently received a Google Grant for $10,000 worth of Google AdWords/month.  My nonprofit was advised that we need to outsource the Google AdWords Campaign and pay a third party $400/month to manage the campaign and $200/month for creative.

We are a small nonprofit with a staff of 10.  We serve about 2,000 people/year and are a local (not nationwide) charity.

Does anyone have had insight into running and AdWords campaign?  With $10,000 in free AdWords a month, is the campaign so large that we need to outsource the management of the campaign?  Or do you think it'd be better to train a staff person?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Angela, you do not need to hire a third party. However sometimes it can be beneficial to have trained experts manage the account. Again this is not necessary but could be beneficial. You may want to check out Google for nonprofits marketplace.
