Is a university art museum that operates primarily for the public eligible?

Hello,

I represent an art museum that would like to use Google Ads to promote an art exhibition to the general public. We're a non-academic division of a private university, but serve primarily (over 90%) the general public. We offer no credit-bearing classes and our staff members do not teach at the university. However, we do operate under the university's 501c3 status. The ads would not relate to any university services (other than their name being on our logo). You state that "philanthropic arms of educational institutions" are eligible, but I wasn't sure exactly what you mean by that.  Would we be eligible?

Many thanks,

Chris G.

From how you describe it, your museum may be eligible. To fully determine if it is, the best way is to go ahead and apply. The application is quick and easy.
