Is a self hosted Wordpress site eligible for Ad Grants?

Hello,

According to the 'Website policies and promoting multiple sites' page from Ad Grants Help:

https://support.google.com/grants/answer/1657899?hl=en&ref_topic=3500092

"Your organization must own its website: Your organization must own the domain you're using. For example, you can't use a website created using a third-party site creation company, including Google Sites, WordPress, or Blogger."

My organization has its own domain and hosting but uses WordPress installed on the server side as a tool for managing the site content.

Are we still eligible for Google Ad Grants?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, Ralitsa.

As long as you use your own instance of Wordpress, on a www.yoursite.com domain, you should be ok.

What you can't do is use wordpress / blogger hosting and have your site at yoursite.wordpress.com, sites.google.com/yoursite or yoursite.blogspot.com.

Hope it helps.

Self-hosted is fine. They just mean if you have it hosted on Wordpress.com
