How do bid modifiers/multipliers work in Ad Grants ?

Hi -

I was wondering if it is possible to apply a bid modifier, like for device or location, within an Ad Grants AdWords account? What happens if this produced a bid that exceeds the $2.00 max CPC limit?

Anyone try this?

No problem Rosie.

In the mean time, could you please review the Community Guidelines, and update your signature? "...don't use a signature as a means of promoting your business".

Thanks,
Kathleen

Hi @Rosie - @KathleenG is correct. You can certainly use bid modifiers as with any other AdWords account but the system will cap to the max CPC bid limit of $2.

Hi Rosie,
I believe that if the bid modifier pushes the bid above $2, the system will cap it at $2 in the auction.

However, I am going to double check with the AdGrants team.

Thanks Kathleen, that's what I assumed too, but could not find any mention of it in the documentation.

Hi All,

Thanks Robert! All Google Ad Grants accounts are limited to a $2.00 USD cost-per-click (CPC) bid. Ignore all messages in your account that recommend raising your CPC because these tips are meant for paid accounts.
