How can Google Grants help me with such a low maximum bid

The maximum bid rate for Google Grants is about to increase to $2. But this will not help any of my kewords improve their prominance. I have managed to spend £50 of my $10,000 allowance and I don't expect that to change with the changes, it will probably get worse because my ads will now be below all the commercial ads.

What is the point of Google Grants?

Hi Allanmuir,

The non-profit guys moved years ago and have their own community now.

*** Google Grants Help Forum

http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/grants

Please re-post the query in their forum.

Thanks for your understanding.

Best,

Lakatos

Hi there,

As Lakatos and Lyndal suggested, it's probably best to post your query in the Ad Grants board.

But I just wanted to add that it is possible to run two separate AdWords accounts (one Ad Grants and one regular account) for your website, if you would like to bid higher than $2 for certain keywords.  Please read the following link for more information: http://goo.gl/YkhZmI .

I hope this helps!
