Help! Account suspended - 'contains major or repeated violations of Google advertising policies'

We are trying to resolve the situation where the registered charity I represent in the UK has been successfully approved for a Google Ad Grant, but the Google AdWord account  we have registered to administer that has been ‘suspended because it contains major or repeated violations of Google advertising policies’.

We have followed the guidelines provided to setup the Google AdWord account to meet Google Ad Grant specifications. We have one ‘enabled’ campaign, containing ten ads all of which have status ‘approved’, ad groups and keywords are ‘eligible’ and have no policy violations indicated beside them. We have reviewed the Google AdWord Policies extensively and believe we do not violate them. We have reviewed the advice on how to fix a suspended account and have reached out to the community but cannot establish exactly why our account is suspended.

It is not clear at all what the policy violations we have made are, and as a non-profit organisation successfully approved for a Google Ad Grant, it is incredibly frustrating to be in a position where we can’t utilise the awarded grant.

Can you provide any further guidance on how we can resolve? We've tried completing appeal forms but to no avail and we've not been given any example of where we have violated policy in order that we can rectify it promptly.

We would warmly welcome the opportunity to speak to a representative who can help us.

Kind regards,

Derek

@Derek S

If this is in regards to the account you previously reached out to me about, it is still under investigation. I will reach out to the team and see if there are any new updates.

Nothing much we could help on. Multiple violations are found after a manual review: meaning that a Policy specialist checked the account and found the violations to be real.
Based on past experience, this type of suspension usually happens when an advertiser "pushes" the boundaries of the "allowed vs not allowed" beyond the acceptable within Google's protocol.
I understand from your post that, if this was done, that was unintentional. But, once there are many, the chances of reinstating the account are slim.

Thanks @MosheTLV for your insight into this. Any violation of the rules on our part is entirely unintentional. As I mention, we are a registered UK charity who were successfully awarded a Google Ad Grant and we want to utilise this. If someone was able to explain clearly what exactly we were doing wrong we would change it without question. It's frustrating and confusing for us that on one hand we've generously been awarded a charitable grant and then on the other effectively told we can't use it.

Is it a Google AdWords policy violation or could it be a Google Ad Grant policy violation ?
In your opinion what should we do - is there anyone we can contact to help fix it?
Is it possible/advisable to start again and permanently close that account and link another new Google Ad Words account to our Google Ad Grant?

Thanks again for any advice.

@Derek S;

It could be either or could be both.

The  Grants has a special chapter within the Policy. But  the general Policy for all advertisers applies also to Grants;

Can you share the  site URL in question?
