Grantspro denied while meeting all eligibility requirements

Our Grant's Pro application got denied while meeting all the eligibility requirements - Spend, CTR, Conversions etc. Received this response:

"Please note that meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the Grantspro program. We evaluate and weigh several criteria during the selection process, such as impact of the organization overall, impact of the additional programs or services the organization plans to promote with the additional grant money, and whether the plans are rooted in research and data that demonstrate how the organization plans to make the world a better place.
Google reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's application or participation at any time, for any reason, and to supplement or amend these eligibility guidelines at any time. Selections are made at Google's sole discretion, and are not subject to external review. We kindly thank you for your interest.
We are happy to have you continue to participate in the standard Google Ad Grants program at the standard 10/k month level. To best utilize your advertising grant money, we encourage you to optimize your account using the best practices found in the AdWords Help Center".

Basically we can't do anything from here, can't fix anything that we don't know what the problem is right? Does anyone know how Google approves grants pro? Do they select or have preference to certain types of charities? Has anyone had any success re-applying after being denied? Google relaunched grants pro in May 2014, are they taking it back? Appreciate any recent success stories here to get some insight.

Hi Eva P,
Thanks for joining our community. Sorry that your org did not get the GrantsPro level but keep in mind that $10K/month is still a very significant donation, especially when you add it up for all of the months and years you will have it.

As noted in your post above, just meeting the minimum requirements does not in any way guarantee acceptance into the Grantspro program. The requirements are the minimum; and the Ad Grants team will not give an exact reason to each and every org they reject.

When it comes to GrantsPro, decisions are final and any attempts to re-apply will be rejected as well.

Thank Robert, but this doesn't actually help my situation. Has anyone had any success in applying for Grantspro in the past few weeks? Just wondering if Google tightened their budgets as a whole or if they are favoring certain types of organizations.
