Hoping you can shed some light - we (C&K) are registered with the ACNC in Australia, and we run programmes to help disadvantaged, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and children with a disability within our childcare centres and kindergartens.
We'd like to apply for the Adwords programme, my reading of the criteria is that our "philanthropic arm" would need to apply. As don't have a separate entity would we just need to describe the work we will be using Adwords for?
Thanks for your advice,
Re: Childcare exemption
You could attempt to apply and see what the response would be, however, since it appears that the primary service of C&K is child care, your organization would most likely be rejected on that basis since schools and child care centers are not eligible for the program. The exception for "philanthropic arms" really only applies to educations institutions such as universities.
