Can I advertise a service where we receive a portion of the profit

Hello,

We currently have a not for profit adword account for our community art/cinema pavilion.  Within the pavilion we have a cafe, and we recieve a proportion (not all) of their profits. The cafe provides us with substantial funds to spend on our educational programme.

Can we advertise the cafe on our Adwords?

Many thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Unfortunatley, you may not. The cafe would have to be fully owned and operated by your organization with 100% of the proceeds going towards your program to be able to advertise it with the Ad Grant.

Below is the full guideline from the Ad Grants eligibility page:

  • Strictly commercial advertising is not allowed through this program. If you intend to promote products or services, 100% of the sales and/or proceeds must support your program.
