Hi Liz,

If you are talking about a traditional remarketing campaign via display ads, then the answer is "no" since Google Ad Grants only allows for text ads via search at this time.

However, remarketing lists for search ads, does use text ads via search.

Hi Liz, as far as I'm aware, Google Grants is merely involved with the payment for AdWords fees and has no limitation on features used.

Hello , As far as I can read here

http://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!searchin/grants/remarketing/grants/vtScdx01EHM

Robert Coats explains that for remarketing , grants use a separate paid account. However in another source i have read that RLSA can be used by grant accounts so it should be only a limination regarding GDN.

Another limitation is th 2 $ MaxCPC which may not be enough for all remarketing keywords.

However the most accurate information is in the Grants Forum.

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for the mention and for linking to my post on the Ad Grants Help Forum. Yes, I do highly recommend that Grantees consider using a paid account to do display remarketing and traditional display advertising. I am a firm believer that advertising on Google's Display Network can be very beneficial for Grantees and nonprofits as a whole.

Is is possible to have a paid account for display ads for remarketing but to generate the remarking list via the grants account? If so how?

Hi John,
Yes, as a grantee you can have a paid account to use for remarketing - all of the remarketing would be done through the paid account and not the grant account. You can learn more about remarketing here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2453998?hl=en

Not only possible, but to be recommended - it is a way to leverage the grant traffic to convert.

Hey Robert,

Thanks for all your great specific information on these boards!

Do you recommend using remarketing lists for search ads within an Ad Grants account?
