Ad Grants and paid ads together?

We have an Ad Grants campaign and we would also like some of our supporters to sponsor paid ads.  What is the best way to accomplish this?  Will the paid ads compete with the Ad Grant ads?

yes, grantees are allowed to run a paid account in tandem with your grant account. My recommendation is to use the paid account for display ads and to keep the grant account solely for text ads on search.

Google's Ad Grant Program only applies to text ads. You can't use the grant for display advertising, you must create a different account to run display ads.

So we need a separate adwords account for paid display?
