Ad Grants Account Activation Disapproved

I've been working with AdWords for the past 5 or 6 years now, but the Ad Grants process is new to me. We have submitted our completed AdWords campaign to Ad Grants 5 times now. Below are the descriptions we've received for each disapproval along with the actual reason for the disapproval, according to an "AdWords Specialist" -

Note: all ads have officially been approved, with a few approved - limited.

20 Sept. | Automatic response: Regrettably, your organization does not fall within our guidelines. For details on your country's requirements, click the "Eligibility & charity status" link shown for your country: https://support.google.com/grants/answer/1705991. Actual problem: Campaign was originally created as a Search & Display Network - deleted and re-uploaded the campaign with the correct parameters. A specialist has reviewed the checklist of required items and said it's good to go.

22 Sept. | Automatic response: Regrettably, your organization does not fall within our guidelines. For details on your country's requirements, click the "Eligibility & charity status" link shown for your country: https://support.google.com/grants/answer/1705991. Actual problem: The email address used to create the AdWords account did not match the email address used to request Google for Nonprofits status.

26 Sept. | Automatic response: Your account contains more than one website domain name - You can only advertise the one website domain name that's associated with your nonprofit. You'll need to delete any ads that contain additional website domain names. See specific instructions to resolve this in the Ad Grants troubleshooter here: https://support.google.com/grants/troubleshooter/6216465#ts=6216475%2C6217578. Actual problem: The Google AdWords account was associated with our MCC account, that has paid accounts. We unlinked the account from the paid accounts and resubmitted.

27 Sept. | Automatic response: The AdWords account you have submitted is affected by a technical issue and cannot be activated for Ad Grants. Please create a new AdWords account and follow the instructions in the Account Creation Guide to avoid further errors. Actual problem: There were no more than two ads that directed to a different website than the one submitted for Google for Nonrprofits approval (went to an off-site "sign-up for our newsletter"). Had to create an entirely new AdWords account.

9 Oct. | Automatic response: Regrettably, your organization does not fall within our guidelines. For details on your country's requirements, click the "Eligibility & charity status" link shown for your country: https://support.google.com/grants/answer/1705991. Actual problem: TBD

I would love to talk with someone who knows the ins-and-outs of Ad Grants and would walk me through the process until it is approved.

Hello @Courtney R,

Let's see if we can get this figured out. I manage many Google Non Profits Ad Grants and want to see if I can help out.

But first I need some information about the Non Profit.

Hello @Courtney R

What I'm going to recommend based on your original post is review the Google Non-Profits Eligibility Guidelines

If the non profit and campaign are approved the campaign can be search only, at a maximum cost per click of $2.00 which is a budget of $329.00 per day.

Now if you decide to create 2 or 3 campaigns you will need to split that $329.00 per day between the campaigns.

@Courtney R

My apologies for the issues that you have run into and my apologies for not seeing your post sooner.

I'll be glad to escalate this for you directly to the Ad Grants team but I will need some additional information about your organization that we cannot post publicly here in the public forum due to privacy concerns. Please fill out this form and I can escalate for you.

Please DO NOT create any new accounts since that will only make the situation worse and make it much more difficult to address the issues you have run into.

@Molly Y by far the worst advice I've seen on here. If they already have an approved non-profits account, how would they be able to create a "brand new" non-profit account?(answer: they cant!)
