Access to old GoogleGrant account?
We're working with a non-profit and wanted to get them started on GoogleGrants. This process seems to have been started by a previous marketing person on their team, who is no longer with the group, and no information as to the credentials attached to this original application seems to exist.
We applied for the Grant correctly, but the response was:
One or more organizations have already registered with the Employer ID (EIN): XX-XXXXXXX
Request administrative privileges for an existing account by providing information that we can send to the current administrators. If an administrator accepts your request, you will have access to the account
We've made the request, but as we don't know the original sign-up info, we can't get to an account to approve the request for Admin privileges (the one it should have been assigned to logically is receiving e-mail but nothing has come in from Google).
How can we get past this hurdle?
Re: Access to old GoogleGrant account?
Google will send the account owner an email asking him/her to respond to the request within 14 days. You will receive an email notification once the current owner responds to your request. Note that the email will be sent to the account from which you made the request.
If your request is approved, you will be able to access your organization's Google for Nonprofits membership account using the account details you supplied on the form. If your request is denied, you will not be able to access the membership account.
If the original owner does not respond within 14 days, a Google representative will review your request.
