We’ve created a new discussion post here in the community focusing on a specific topic relevant to small business owners. We encourage you to ask any questions or discuss any aspect of this topic; our Advisors will be on hand to provide expert advice and tips to help you succeed. The latest topic is:
Making sure your site is mobile-friendly.
It's more important than ever to ensure that your website is providing a great mobile experience to your customers. In 2015, a Google update made it so that mobile-friendly sites would rank better in mobile searches. Google and Nielsen found that 73% of mobile searches trigger additional action and conversions. For a small business, this could be visits to your website, phone calls to your business, visits to your store and (eventually) purchase of your products or services. You want your business to be there when potential customers have needs -- and having a mobile-friendly website is the best way to ensure it can be. Be sure to take advantage of this helpful tool made by Google that takes a look at your website and lets you know what should be fixed in order to ensure maximum mobile compatibility.
