Hi Alex O,

You shouldn't need to input your email address to see the information. You should be able to navigate through the course using the links on the right-hand side. Do you see those?

Hi,
In the online course 301, conversion rate is defined as "The percentage of clicks that have led to conversions".
The example is as follows:-
For example, let's say that your ad received 1000 clicks (15 of which resulted in conversions), with 20 total conversions and a total cost of $200. In this case:

The number of conversions is 20.
The number of converted clicks is 15.
The conversion rate is 2% (20 conversions divided by 1000 clicks).

My Question is:-

If conversion rate is % of clicks that led to conversion, then Conversion rate in the above example should be 1.5% (15/1000)?

Please help in clearing this doubt.

Regards,
Anoop

Hi Anoop,

Conversion rate is calculated as the number of conversions divided by the number of eligible ad clicks. So in this case the 20 conversions is divided by the 1000 clicks, resulting in 2%.

I hope this helps,
Kathleen
