Q: Every brand I carry has its own ad group. So, why is it that I see so much activity in my All Products Ad Group?
A: Make sure the All Products ad group has the lowest bid. If it's an equal bid, then All Products ad group will trump other ad groups because it has historical data. We suggest creating tiers of bidding with the All Products ad group as the lower tier.
Q: I want to download my available products list from my google merchant account as a CSV file, can that be done, and if so how?
A: If you'd like to review your uploaded feed during your investigation, you can do so by navigating to the data feeds tab. By clicking on the “status” of the feed, you’ll be able to go to a feed status summary page. This is where the option to download your feed can be found!
Q: How many separate data feeds can I have in my account
A: We suggest having no more than 15 data feeds. You can always reach out to support for help on consolidating your feeds at the Merchant Center Help Center https://support.google.com/merchants/.
Q: Does the item limit quotas apply to the products that are listed as multi-variant?
A: Yes - each new item in the data feed counts toward the item limit quota.
Q: What causes product mismatch or data mismatch. How can I fix it?
A: In the data quality tab, we’ve been making strides to give more transparency on data mismatches. A data mismatch can be when the feed price or quantity does not match what shows up on your landing page. This causes the data mismatch. To prevent data mismatches, always upload your feed to reflect any changes made on product details on your website.
Q: I have items that are listed for international countries. Can I just have one feed to target multiple countries?
A: Each feed is only able to target one country at a time. Each country has different feed requirements.
