Service Area Larger Than 600 Miles in Google My Business Listing?

Hello Community, I have both a physical address where I meet clients, and as a freelance photographer (though most of my work is local to the SF Bay Area) I sometimes travel all over the country for photoshoots (hopefully more and more). My service area is technically national (hopefully international someday) as I'll go wherever a client needs me. I was adjusting my service area on my Google My Business Profile, and it seems if I put a number larger than 600 miles, it just adjusts to 600 miles. How do you say you have a home base location, and also work all over the country, or world?

Requested info:

1. Business Name: Niall David Photography
2. Address: 1463 Pine St. San Francisco, CA 94904 (should be 94109, but Google Maps is convinced it's 4, grr)
3. Current telephone number: 415-545-8089
4. Google+ URL: https://plus.google.com/+NiallDavidPhotography/about

frankly said:

Google doesn't really support SAB of such a huge area.

All we know is SAB up to 30- 40 miles are ok.

But country wide SAB are no good at all and mostly not even properly ranked - even if it is technically possible to create then for 600 miles or 1000 kilometer

Create better a website or a brandpage.

I am also experiencing the same problem, but with a limitation of 999km as we are in Canada.
Our furthest client is 4,200km away and we regularly provide services there. I would like to accurately reflect this in my service area.
I'm surprised Google would limit something like this so we can not accurately reflect our service area, especially because I'm sure many businesses operation nationally. Google has always worked to be relevant, and this problem makes My Business listing less accurate and therefore less relevant.
