Removing Google Business Map Photos

Hello, I am trying to remove images from my business listing on Google Maps. Before it used to be that your Google+ profile page would link to the map and take those photos.

We have removed these photos from our Google profile page but the images still appear on the map. By going to our Google Dashboard and navigating to the page we want to edit, it just gives the option to update the Google+ Profile images again. There is no actual spot to delete the images from the page and upload the ones you like to the map.

Has anyone else experienced this? We need to get this updated as soon as we can.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Zack S

The images that appear in Maps are the ones you uploaded to "Upload to Public"

This one for example :

screencapture (15).png

Was uploaded to the the Public section:

 screencapture (16).png

Go to the dashboard >> https://business.google.com/manage/

Select Photo section and locate it.

Sometimes there will be no Bin Icon ( delete ) because it was uploaded to public. If this happens then do a refresh Ctrl F5 , when it refreshes a Bin icon appears and you should be able to delete.

If you can't locate there, then in the Google+ page itself, go to the about section and click on the image, repeat Ctrl F5 to delete.

I would recommend in future using the Manage Photo section to add images.
