Hi

I would like to remove a duplicate listing I own, not only from my account, but from Google's index, this article only shows how to remove from your account: https://support.google.com/business/answer/4669139?hl=en also found a very handy article on Moz, but not for my particular issue: https://moz.com/blog/delete-gmb-listing.

Thanks

S

Hi @Shane J,

I presume this is the verified listing for your business:

a) Name: Archive

b) Address: 26A Shortmarket St, Cape Town CBD, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa

c) Google Maps URL: https://www.google.com/maps?cid=7388062703140405393

Also, that this is the unverified duplicate?:

a) Name: Archive - Shortmarket Street, Cape Town

b) Address: 26A Shortmarket Street, Green Market Square, Cape Town CBD, Cape Town, 8000, South Africa

c) Google Maps Link: https://www.google.com/maps?cid=17695800154675984561

You can contact support to ask them to merge the unverified duplicate with the verified listing.

I would recommend that you contact Google My Business Twitter support: https://twitter.com/+GoogleMyBiz and ask them to merge this listing:

https://www.google.com/maps?cid=17695800154675984561 as an unverified duplicate of this verified listing: https://www.google.com/maps?cid=7388062703140405393.

You could also contact support by phone, email. But, my observations are that Twitter support is more proficient with issues like this.

You can do so by following the instructions here: Google My Business Help - Talk to a specialist or here: Google My Business Help - Other Problem.

Thank you.
