My Google Business sidebar has gone

Hi there,

My Google Business has disappeared when I Google 'Code&' (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=code%26&oq=code%26&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i61l3j69i65l2.2204j0j4&sou...), it used to be there with around 5-8 reviews with 5 stars each.

Also, I'm trying to log on into it with me @codeand.com.au address (see attached) and the page loads but nothing happens.

Can you please let me know how I can see and edit my business' Google Business page again?

Thanks,

Abra

Hi @Davilson Abra A,

My Google Business has disappeared when I Google 'Code&' (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=code%26&oq=code%26&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i61l3j69i65l2.2204j0j4&sou...), it used to be there with around 5-8 reviews with 5 stars each.

I presume that this is the listing for your business?:

a) Name: Code&

b) Address: Dee Why NSW, Australia

c) Google Maps URL: https://www.google.com/maps?cid=3657117688097338669

If yes and if you are referring to the knowledge panel (Google My Business Help -> Your business information in the Knowledge Panel), I am still able to see the knowledge panel for your business on searching for "Code& Sydney", as you can see below:

Also, I'm trying to log on into it with me @codeand.com.au address (see attached) and the page loads but nothing happens. Can you please let me know how I can see and edit my business' Google Business page again?

This usually means that you are not signing into the Google Account that has been used to claim/verify the listing.

Could you please do the following:

1) Go into private browsing/incognito mode on your browser

2) Sign into your Google Account

3) Go to this link: http://business.google.com/manage/#list

Please repeat the above process with each of your Google Accounts.

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply but I've few questions:

• We used to type 'Code&' only and it will appear, now it will only appear if we type 'Code&' right? Is there any way we can make it more efficient, with typing only its business' name?

3) There is no list when I go to: http://business.google.com/manage/#list

Any help?

Thanks!

Hi @Davilson Abra A,

We used to type 'Code&' only and it will appear, now it will only appear if we type 'Code&' right? Is there any way we can make it more efficient, with typing only its business' name?

Can't say for sure, as the display of the knowledge graph is controlled by a proprietary algorithm, the details of which Google doesn't share with the public (some of which are briefly discussed in this help article: Google My Business Help -> Your business information in the Knowledge Panel).

However, there may be some optimisations that you can make to your listing and/or website that may cause the knowledge panel to appear eventually.

SEO is not my profession, so I'm not sure what these are for sure.

However, I would recommend that you follow the instructions mentioned in this article written by an expert: http://onlineownership.com/get-knowledge-panel-show-business-name-search/.

There is no list when I go to: http://business.google.com/manage/#list

Could you please reply with a screenshot of what you do see when you go to that link?

If no listings are displayed, it usually means that you are not signed into the correct account, that is the one that you used to claim the listing. Which is why I had suggested that you go into Ingognito mode and login to each of your Google Accounts and check if your business listing is displayed when you visit that link.

The listing is claimed by someone though, as there's no way to add a service-area listing without doing so (Google My Business Help -> Service-area businesses on Google).

Thank you.
