I get it pretty top ranked for "bed and Breakfast near Sechelt, BC " if searching with www.google.ca

Unfortunately I'm not near Sechelt im in Sechelt. My competition shows for Sechelt as well as my competition 40 miles outside Sechelt shows for Sechelt.

Another question if possible how to get any comets to associate with that listing

ok

get you for "in" as well:

and as well for "bed and Breakfast,Sechelt, BC"

However I agree not getting you if omitting either of  "in"  ","  or  "near"

That's great now If I could only people to add the province to the search. Like looking for a hotel  Boston or looking for a hotel in Boston Massachusetts.

Would it change anything if I took out the BC from my address. I could change it to British Columbia , which hopefully would be too long to fit.

I have no good advice how to deal with this.
But I have escalated it to Google asking them:
Is not getting a biz if omitting either of "in" "," or "near" normal?

Thanks Helmut, it use to be ok but now it looks like the b&b's out of town have taken over.

I just checked and my site shows up in search of towns 25 miles away but not in my own town.
Somebody has an odd sense of local.

I show up in bed and breakfast Gibsons

And for bed and breakfast in Gibsons ( although I'm over a half hour highway drive from Gibsons.

I think the hotels from far away are showing due to Hotel Finder being a paid program. So if you want to be included in that you should go here: https://www.google.com/ads/hotels/

You show up for "bed & breakfast sechelt" as well.

@"You show up for "bed & breakfast sechelt" as well."
  and " being a paid program. "
I'm Sorry but not in my search results
Or Helmuts from his earlier post "However I agree not getting you if omitting either of "in" "," or "near"
And when did Google start showing ads without indicating that these results are paid for.
