My client currently has a local business page but we want to be able to add social links to their Google+ profile and this is only possible if we create a Brand page for them. Which is better to have? What benefits would I lose from transitioning their local business page to a brand page?

1. Full business name - SpareFoot
2. Current business address - 720 Brazos St #300 Austin, TX 78701
3. Current telephone number - 866) 670-6395
4. Google+ URL - https://plus.google.com/+SpareFootSS/posts

Thanks!

A brand page would make the most sense for your business overall but you could do both. You could keep the local listing for your company headquarters in Austin but also have a brand page to utilize for social purposes, and to reflect your company's overall presence nationwide. But the hours on your local listing need to be updated unless you can make in-person contact with customers there 24/7.
