I need help with changing business information

I am the manager at Ella Bache Fannie Bay in Darwin and I am having trouble changing the information on google maps when searched from a phone as all the information is incorrect, can you please assist me in correcting the information?

Looking at the Listing, it appears to already be a Claimed and Verified Google My Business profile.

Meaning you will have to gain access to the account via Google my Business to make changes.

 

The steps you have to take are to request either to be added as a manager of the account or to transfer ownership of the account. ( I assume you are not in control of the Google My Business Profile?)

Step 1)

If you are in control of the profile - make the changes there:  Login and click here:

Login to Google and go here
https://plus.google.com/u/0/dashboard?ppsrc=gpnv0     this will show you if that email address has access to for the Google My Business Places Pages.

 

 

Step 2)

Go to  Google My Business website : 

Go here:
With your Main Google Associated account (preferably that also might use any other google products)  Go to:

Type in your business name and address

It will say someone already has claimed that business. It will give you a clue with a redacted email address.

 

Step 3) Chose to either request a Transfer of Ownership or to be Added as the Manager.

( either request will send an email to the Current Owner of the account)

 

Step 4) If the owner does not respond to either request, After 14 days

After 7 days then go here to contact Google My Business support to go through the process of proving ownership etc.

  1. The current listing owner will receive an email asking them to get in touch with you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email. Allow a full 7 days for the current listing owner to respond to your request. If you don’t hear back after 7 days, contact support by replying to the confirmation email. 

 

In the Meantime, it will make the process smoother if the Email address you are using to claim the business, is also register with Google Webmaster tools / Search console for the Website of the business.

Extra Tip:  Make sure your website for your business is verified through Google Webmaster Tools (now know as Search Console), with the email address you use for Google My Business.  It can save you time and speed up the process    Google Webmaster Tools / Search Console https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en
