Google Knowledge Panel

Hi guys.

Website: www.jeetkunedo.sg

Google Plus page: https://plus.google.com/b/111048493916053533901/+JeetkunedoSgJohnlow

I have already verified my business location and I have been the top organic search for "Jeet kune do singapore" for quite awhile.

However, the knowledge panel keeps showing the second link from the results. Can anyone guide me on how I can get my business to appear on the right side?

It works fine if I search for "jeet kune do john's training group".

Hi @John L

The problem is this :

Jeet kune do singapore  is not an identifiable name as such.

1) its a type of martial art

2) it contains a local query  - singapore

Therefore Google see's it as a local search query and not a business name.

In .com

you can see this because it triggers a local pack

In .com.su

It shows your business page that you created for the blog, which is long standing and if you want to shift it you need to build your authority

Another thing is your business page name :

This is against Google guidelines : Jeet Kune Do Singapore | John's Training Group

It is either : Jeet Kune Do Singapore OR John's Training Group

Not Both.

Hi Tim,

Really appreciate your inputs. I will look into them. Can I just clarify that the current preview is showing because he has build an authority on it and his company name, is also against Google's guidelines? His name is Jeet Kune Do Singpapore, followed by the bunch of chinese words after it.

Hi @John L

No .

You are looking at his websites <title>  not the Business Page Name.

It is your business page name that I am saying is against guidelines.  You can have whatever you want on your own website.
