Hey guys, looking for a bit of help, was referred here by Sean from the Google YouTube Team.

I need some help showing the correct twitter account / showing a twitter account in google search to the left of my knowledgebox.

Current Knowledge Graph:

I have added all of my social accounts, and also updated all the information with credible sources, any suggestions?

Hi @Alexander James Ritchie B,

Thanks for writing. I would recommend first, using the "suggest an edit" option to add in your social profiles. Second, you can check out this article for more information on getting your social profiles to show up in the knowledge panel.

Hey @ElizabethP

I have already added all my social accounts with the "suggest an edit" also their is no information in the article you linked about my current issue.

I'm not sure if it is a knowledge graph issue, or a search issue.

Good Afternoon,

When I perform a search, Google displays the following twitter profile in the KG card,, which is the same twitter profile linked from the linked website and also displayed in the links section of the G+ page, see screenshots below (see bottom left corner of ss to see link address).

Is Google displaying a different twitter profile in your results? Or has Google updated the link since you posted the thread?

With respect to suggesting edits to the Knowledge Graph card, did you sign in as the official representative prior to suggesting a change be made? See documentation for instructions to be recognized as an official representative (just in case you need to suggest edits in future).

Although you don't have to add structured data for Google to display social profile links in the KG card (they also pick them up from other sources), Elizabeth linked to the structured data documentation because it's recommended to add structured data to customize the Knowledge Graph card (one benefit to adding markup - it helps Google to verify that the info they have about you is accurate). I took a look at your site and although you've added structured data you haven't marked up the data required for the social profile links. I've included example markup for the page you've linked to from your G+ Brand page. I also recommend addressing markup for the homepage and contact page.

You'll see in the example I've also linked to some of your other profiles (Google gathers info about an entity across the web) - to help Google make the connection - they don't need to be displayed to users although I do recommend displaying the link to the G+ page because according to guidelines you should display the social profile link to users if you want Google to show them in the KG card.

Please update the thread if you're still seeing an incorrect link. I'll do some digging to see if I can determine where they're picking up the link.

I believe he's talking about the twitter carousel that shows to left of the knowledge graph. I'm not sure what the criteria is for this to appear but it's often present for big brands and celebs. Just guessing but some factors may be: a verified twitter account, certain number of followers, certain number of likes/retweets for tweets on the account.

Hey @Grace

Thank you for the in depth answer,

The twitter account on the google knowledge graph is correct "iamb_nasty"

The problem is Google search is not showing the correct Twitter account, and I believe it is called the "Twitter Carousel" as @TomW mentioned.

Is there anyway to implement this?

Good Evening,

I haven't been able to get the KG card to display nor the twitter carousel, which search term are you using to see one or the other or both? Can you provide a screenshot please.
