GMB vs. Knowledge Graph

Hi Everyone,

Is there an easy explanation as to what are the major differences between Knowledge Graph and Google My Business?  I understand they both show different information, and KG is heavily SEO based and GMB is run through the GMB UI, but which one shows up when?  Should I have both of these enabled for my local business?

Just trying to figure out whether or not I should go ahead and try to get knowledge graph implemented, but I don't want it to step on the toes of GMB.

Thanks in advance!!

When a Knowledge Graph is combined with GMB and/or local business data, it is referred to as a Local Knowledge Graph. Main difference is that it will contain the contact information for that business as well as a display of their reviews and review snippets.

What type of business are you trying to get a Knowledge Graph for?
